Lough Neagh Portraits

Although our recent trip to Ireland was planned around Rory's christening, I also took the opportunity to take a few portraits of other family members. My niece Fionnuala braved the freezing cold by the shores of Lough Neagh for a five-minute session on this jetty:

She did well not to get her heels jammed in between the planks, though falling into the lough was the more frightening prospect!

For this shot I've cropped in quite a way and the played around in Photoshop to achieve the final look. The clear white sky helped to give a high-key effect to these shots, though the light was beginning to dwindle at this stage.

But there was still just enough time to grab a few shots of Donny, Tasha and little Kyra:

Kyra is just days away from her first birthday, so Happy Birthday princess!

There was just enough time to get a quick family shot:

My next post will probably feature a few shots from the latter half of our trip, when we took a couple of days beside Lough Erne in Fermanagh. Bye for now,
David
